Kive Kraft was a four-year varsity letterman in football as a tight end during his career. Kraft's banner year took place in 2005 when his efforts helped Capital earn their second trip to the NCAA playoffs in program history and first since 1987. That year, Kraft was named an All-American, All-Region and All-Conference selection. Additionally, he recorded the 11th most receiving yards in a single season with 791. His 10 receiving touchdowns that season also marked the fourth most in a single season in program history. Over the course of his career Kraft sits 13th on the career receiving yards list with 1,540 yards on 130 receptions and 14 career scores.Â
Kraft currently serves as the Director of Construction for Kraft Construction LLC, a small family owned and operated commercial construction company in Columbus. He resides in nearby Pickerington with his wife Callie and son Parker. Kive would also like to recognize his parents Barb and Dave for their love and support through his playing days and always. They never missed a scrimmage, game or related function during his four-year playing career at Capital.
