Capital University Athletics Hall of Fame
D. Jedd Stucky walked on to the men's soccer team to play goalie where he earned the starting role while helping the program to their first winning season in program history. On the baseball diamond – Stucky's primary sport – Stucky's career was highlighted by a 1981 Academic All-American accolade. He was also voted his team's MVP during their at the time record-breaking 20-win season.  He was named a co-captain in both soccer and baseball during his time as a student-athlete. Since graduating from Capital, Stucky has given back to the university as he has remained an active participant in the Varsity C program while also contributing financially to The Capital Center construction project as well as toward the upkeep of Clowson Field for today's student-athletes. He will also begin the 2025 baseball season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Comets.
Stucky currently resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife of 39 years Cindy. He is retired from U.S. Bank where he worked for 32 years. He would like to list his sons Scott (Kelli) and Dan (Katie) and his two grandchildren Chase and Libbi for their support.Â
