Devan Boggs proved to be one of the best offensive players to come through the Capital softball program during her career, earning two All-American honors, four All-Region selections and four All-OAC accolades during her four-year tenure. Additionally, she was named the 2010 OAC Rookie of the Year as well as the 2013 OAC Player of the Year. During her senior season, Boggs helped lead Capital to the OAC Regular Season title as well as a bid to the NCAA Tournament. To this day, Boggs remains the program record holder in single season at-bats (166), hits (81) and home runs (14), while also sitting in the top-five in batting average, runs scored, runs batted in, doubles, and triples. On the career record board, Boggs remains the record holder in at-bats (569), hits (261), doubles (59) and home runs (31) while also ranking in the top-five in batting average, runs batted in, triples and runs scored.Â
Devan currently resides in Columbus, Ohio and works as a Project Specialist. She lists her family members as her biggest supporters – her dad Bryan, her late mother Diamond, her sisters Britney and Dina, her grandma Leanna and her late grandfather Walter.Â
