A true model of consistency, Adam Persing, served as one of the leaders on the offensive line during his career, blocking for one of the most potent offenses in Capital's history. Persing's efforts on the offensive line led to him being selected as a 2007 All-American, a two-time All-Region player and a three-time first team All-OAC selection. The Purple and White qualified for the NCAA playoffs all three years that Persing served as a letterman on the offensive line. Â Persing was a member of the unit that blocked for Capital's career total offense record holder, Rocky Pentello, who racked up more than 12,000 yards during his time as CU's quarterback. Persing also stood tall in front of Marty Assman who totaled more than 5,300 yards during his career as well.Â
Adam resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Jodi. He is a teacher at Oakstone Community School in his day-to-day life.Â
