Capital University Athletics Hall of Fame
Julie Huffman Jenkins marks the first women's golfer to be inducted into the Hall of Fame after one of the most decorated careers in the program's history. Jenkins achieved the OAC Tournament Medalist honor twice in her career both in 2003 and 2004 – an honor no other Capital women's golfer has achieved. Julie also was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Team in 2005 and was twice selected Academic All-OAC.  Jenkins shot a career 18-hole low score of 80 in 2004 at Majestic Springs Golf Course. That score currently holds as the fourth lowest score in program history. Julie also shot numerous scores of 81, 82, 83 and 84 during her consistent career. Across 36-holes, Jenkins still holds the Capital school record with a low score of 161 that also took place at Majestic Springs Golf Course.Â
Julie currently resides in New Albany, Ohio and is married to her husband Vince. She is a stay-at-home mom with her three children – Reece (13), Brooks (10) and Elle (4).Â
