COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Capital University men's basketball is mourning the passing of two teammates and active alumni -- Mike Peddicord and Tracy Colston. 

Both Peddicord and Colston were four-year letter winners at Capital from 1979 to 1982 and played under former head coach Dave Grube and helped the program from below .500 to a 20-win season in the 1981-82 season. Additionally that same year, the team went on to win the South Region in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the National Quarterfinals in Turlock, California. Notably, Tracy finished his career with 1,262 points, a number that is still 17th best in program history.
