WESTERVILLE, Ohio - On Friday, May 8, the Ohio Athletic Conference released this year's edition of their women's golf postseason awards. Earning recognition for the third time in her career was Capital's very own
Emma Konopa, who took home second team All-OAC honors.
Konopa competed in ten tournaments on the year, placing top-ten four times. The junior would also have two top-five finishes on the campaign. In 15 total rounds on the season, Konopa compiled a scoring average of 85.8
She began the season in Angola, Ind. for the Trine University Kick-Off Classic, where she finished in a tie for fourth place. In the one day, 18-hole event, Konopa recorded one birdie on the way to finishing with an 81 (+9).
The Independence, Ohio native's other top-five finish would come in November at the Polar Bear Classic. Competing at the Traditions Golf Club, Konopa used a round of 86 (+14) to find herself end up with another fourth place finish.
