WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio - From May 1-3, the Capital University women's golf team competed at the OAC Championship, a 54 hole event hosted at the River Greens Golf Club. The Comets would use team scores of 368, 363, and 352 to finish at 1083 (+219). Capital would finish in seventh out of the eight competing Ohio Athletic Conference teams.
Leading the way for the Comets would be
Emma Konopa, who finished 44 over and in 16th place. Konopa's best round would be round one, where she recorded one eagle and fired off an 83. The junior would finish with a 91 on day two and a 86 on the final day of play.
Paige Leyda finished the tournament at 51 over, placing her in 24th. Finishing just one stroke and one place behind was
Camryn Mauter, who concluded her weekend at 52 over.
