COLUMBUS, Ohio – Earlier this week, the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association announced their year-end awards for the 2025 season. Being recognized this season for Capital University were
Taylor Duff and
Elise Buckerfield of the women's soccer program and
Jackson Terry of the men's program.
On the women's side, Duff was named to the All-Ohio first team, while Buckerfield was selected to the All-Ohio second team. Buckerfield was also the highest placed freshman on the three teams. The two selections for the Comets continues a streak dating back to 2006 in which Capital women's soccer has featured at least two players on the All-Ohio teams. This season, the Capital women finished with a 9-6-3 overall record.
For the men, Terry was named to the All-Academic second team. Terry's honor marks the third year in a row in which a Comet men's player has been named All-Academic by the OCSA. In 2025, Capital men's soccer finished the year with an overall record of 4-10-3.
