GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Tuesday afternoon, two Capital University baseball players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams for their combined work in the classroom and on the field this season.
Representing the program are junior catcher
Robby Harrison and sophomore outfield
Michael Andryszczyk. This is Harrison's second time earning the honor, and Andryszczyk's first.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must be at least of sophomore academic and athletic standing, must have at least a 3.50 GPA cumulative GPA (not-rounded), and must meet other high athletic standards.
Of those featured on the list, Harrison has been advanced to the national ballot to be voted on for Academic All-America honors. A first, second and third team Academic All-America will be released on July 1st once national voting has been compiled.
