DURHAM, N.C. – On Monday afternoon, Capital University senior
Mason Spaulding was announced as a second team All-Region recipient from the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association. Spaulding's honor makes him the fifth unique student-athlete to earn the award in program history.
Capital falls in Region 4 per the IMLCA. Their region also features the likes of 2024 National Runner-Up Washington & Lee University.
In 2024, Spaulding had a brilliant season, finishing with 74 goals, 17 assists, 91 points, 53 ground balls, and 16 caused turnovers.
Throughout his 58 career games played, Spaulding has scored 195 goals with 44 assists for 239 points. He also has 126 ground balls and 51 caused turnovers.
This honor highlights a spectacular season for Spaulding who adds this award to the many he has already received – USILA All-America, OAC Player of the Year and All-OAC First Team to name a few.
