COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University baseball team is excited to host Heidelberg University at Huntington Park in downtown Columbus on Thursday, May 5th.
Fans looking to attend the game can find their game day essentials below.
Parking: Fans can park in the "H" lot directly across from the Home Plate Gate at Huntington Park. This lot will be reserved at $5 per vehicle for the day. This lot accepts mobile pay only through ParkMobile.
Fans can create a ParkMobile account here. Fans can choose to park elsewhere in downtown Columbus, but rates are subject to Laz Parking pricing and availability.
Entering the Stadium: The only gate open for spectator entrance and exit to Huntington Park will be the Home Plate Gate located off Brodbelt Lane behind Express Live. All other gates will be closed to the stadium.
The Home Plate Gate will open to the public at 12 p.m.
Ticketing: Admission to the doubleheader is free, but donations to Capital University Baseball will be accepted at the gate.
Capital University Hospitality: Capital has reserved the Tansky Club on the second level of Huntington Park directly behind home plate. The Tansky Club features a full-service bar, flat screen TVs, and concessions. The most exclusive hospitality area at Huntington Park, the Tansky Club has unparalleled views of all the play and of downtown Columbus. Admission to the Tansky Club hospitality area is $5 and covers select food options being served in the area during both games.
Concessions: A select number of Huntington Park concessions stands will be open selling food and beverages throughout the doubleheader.
Objects Leaving the Field of Play: Any foul balls that make their way into the stands will be asked to be returned to the Capital dugout (first base side). Huntington Park now has netting from foul pole to foul pole to aid in protecting fans and spectators from objects leaving the field of play.
Fans Unable to Attend: Spectators who are unable to attend the doubleheader may find live video and stats to both games at
