WOOSTER, Ohio – Capital University Women's Tennis lost two matches on Saturday afternoon as part of a tri-match with Calvin College and The College of Wooster. The Crusaders lost to both teams, 9-0, at the Aspen Racquet Center in Wooster, Ohio.

Elizabeth Sadek pushed Calvin's Maria Poortenga in Cap's closest singles bout at three singles in a 6-4, 6-3 loss.

In Cap's loss to host Wooster, the third doubles pairing of Julia Holt and Emma Price lost to Kendra Devereux and Meklit Minassie, 8-4. Madison Watt lost a close match with Quingyue Li in the top flight singles bout, 6-4, 6-2.

After its losses on Saturday, Capital will enter conference play with a 4-5 overall record. Cap will host Baldwin Wallace University at the Olympic Indoor Tennis Center for its OAC opener on Saturday, March 23. First service is set for 2 p.m.
