COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Ohio Northern University, Wednesday afternoon at the CU Tennis Courts.

Capital's lone win came from freshman Caitlyn McDivitt (Cortland, Ohio), who held down the number six position in the singles lineup. She defeated Morgan McGlothlin, 7-6, 7-2 to claim the Crusaders' lone point. McDivitt has now won three of her last four singles matches and is now 5-3 overall.

The Crusaders found little luck elsewhere on the court, dropping the remaining five singles flights and all three doubles matches.

Capital's next action will come in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament where they will have a rematch with ONU, tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday, April 28.
