Women's Tennis Downed Against First-Place Ohio Northern

COLUMBUS – The Capital University women's tennis team was defeated 9-0 against Ohio Northern Tuesday in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual match at the Capital Tennis Courts.

The Crusaders fell to 7-10 overall and 4-4 in the conference with the loss. The Polar Bears, who are regionally ranked and in first place in the league, improved to 22-4 and 8-0 in the OAC.

Capital was bested by identical 8-2 scores in all three doubles matches before falling in straight sets in all four singles affairs.

The Crusaders wrap up the regular season this Saturday at home against cross-town rival Otterbein. First serve of the match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
