Maria Da Cunha rounded out the spring season for the Comets as she competed at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet on Thursday evening. Da Cunha stayed true to her two events in the meet – the 100- and 400-meter hurdles.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Da Cunha qualified for the finals in fourth place and ran a time of 15.03 seconds in the prelim race. Despite her time today, Da Cunha remains second fastest in school history in the event.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Da Cunha was back in action and clocked a time of 1:05.18 to place second overall. Despite tonight's showing, Da Cunha will graduate with the school record in the event.
