WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced the 2026 All-OAC teams on Tuesday morning and representing Capital University are seniors
Kyleigh Kirby and
Autumn Bridges and sophomore
Addi Parker.
Kirby and Bridges were both selected to the Second Team, while Parker was named Honorable Mention. For Kirby, she now becomes a four-time All-OAC recipient as she was Honorable Mention as a freshman and First Team the previous two seasons. She is the first four-time All-Conference recipient for Capital Softball since Kelsey Swain from 2012-2015. Bridges is now a three-time All-Conference selection having twice been named Honorable Mention in the past. This year's recognition is the first in the career for Parker. This is the third consecutive season in which Capital softball has received three All-Conference selections in the same season.
In 2026, Kirby sits atop on the team in batting average, hits, home runs, RBIs, walks, runs scored and stolen bases. In 16 conference games, Kirby batted .333 with 17 hits, one double, one home run, six RBIs, nine runs scored, six walks and seven stolen bases. Overall, Kirby is hitting .358 with 44 hits, four doubles, two triples, six home runs, 31 RBIs, 16 walks, 31 runs scored and 11 stolen bases.
During the season, Bridges hit .348 against conference opponents, excluding the tournament, and tallied 16 hits, one RBI, nine runs scored, five walks and four stolen bases. Overall this season, Bridges is hitting .321 with 34 hits, one double, one triple, 10 RBIs, 13 walks, 26 runs scored and seven stolen bases. She also fielded cleanly, finishing the season with a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Across the year, Parker finished tops on the team in ERA against conference opposition, tallying a 3.00 ERA against OAC opponents. As a primary reliever in OAC-play, she tossed 39.2 innings and recorded a 2-1 record with two saves while striking out 19. Overall this season, Parker has a 3.73 ERA in 86.1 innings pitched and has struck out 34 hitters with a 6-4 record and three saves.
The team will now gear up to travel to St. Louis later this week to take on No. 7 ranked WashU in the opening game of the NCAA Regionals.
