COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University women's basketball senior,
Samaree Perkins, has added yet another accolade to her growing list of accomplishments as she was named to the D3hoops.com Region 7 All-Region First Team.
Perkins is now a second time recipient of All-Region honors and this is her first First Team award from D3hoops. In program history, Perkins is now just the fourth player to earn multiple D3hoops All-Region awards.
In 2025-26, Perkins finished the season averaging 20.0 points per game with 12.0 rebounds per contest, while adding in 36 assists, 27 steals and 23 blocks. She became just the third player in program history to finish a season with more than 500 points and 300 rebounds in the same season, as she finished with 521 points and 313 rebounds.
Perkins' award adds to a postseason list that includes OAC Player of the Year, All-OAC First Team and Jostens Trophy Finalist honors for her senior season.
