WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced the selections of their first Conference Athletes of the Week on Tuesday afternoon for the week ending August 31st. Chosen to represent the conference for women's soccer were sophomore Bella Leonetti as the Offensive Player of the Week and senior Liv Alford as the Defensive Player of the Week. 

The awards mark the first in the career of Leonetti and the fifth in the career of Alford. 

The award highlights the achievements of both players in Capital's season-opening win at Allegheny on Friday. There, Leonetti was involved in three of the four goals Capital scored, netting twice and assisting once. Alford made four saves across the 90 minutes of action and conceded just one goal on a second-half penalty kick. 

These awards mark the first two for Capital Athletics during the 2025-26 season.
