This the Capital program's eighth time being named an Academic Honor Squad, and third in the past five years. In total, 383 schools across Divisions I, II, and III, as well as the NAIA, were recognized as Academic Honor Squads. In order to earn such a recognition, each program must achieve a 3.2 or higher team grade point average for the academic year.
Hart and Osborn were both named to the Academic Honor Roll for the second time in their careers, with Stoner and Todd both earning their first selection. All-in-all, 1284 student-athletes from 201 different institutions were named to the IWLCA's Academic Honor Roll. The requirements for this honor are a class standing of junior, senior, or graduate student, along with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
