WESTERVILLE, Ohio – On Thursday morning, the Ohio Athletic Conference announced its all-conference teams for the 2025 men's lacrosse season. Representing Capital University were senior midfielder
Jacob Poole, graduate attackman Mason Spaulindg, and junior faceoff specialist
Freddy Noday. Poole was named Second Team All-OAC while Spaulding and Noday were both named All-OAC Honorable Mention.
Poole reels in his second All-OAC honor, having previously been named First Team All-OAC in 2023. He finished the season second on the team in scoring with 24 goals and eight assists for 32 total points, also collecting 38 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
Spaulding earns his fourth All-OAC honor, having previously been named First Team All-OAC last season and Second Team All-OAC in both 2022 and 2023. Spaulding led the Comets with 43 goals and 55 points this season, finishing just shy of Brennan O'Callaghan's program record of 248 career goals with 238. He also recorded 12 assists, 38 ground balls, and 15 caused turnovers.
Noday nabbed his third career All-OAC honor, having been named Second Team All-OAC the past two seasons. Noday led CU on the faceoff with 169 wins out of 243 attempts for a faceoff percentage of 69.5%. He also had a team-leading 97 ground balls – breaking the program record with 294 career ground balls – as well as three caused turnovers.
