WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Capital University men's golf team took to the course again on Thursday, playing in the single-round OAC Spring Preview at River Greens Golf Course. The Comets would come in at ninth (A-Team) and 11th (B-Team) in the 11-team field, shooting 313 and 318 respectively.
A-TEAM | 313 | NINTH PLACE
Cap's A squad would finish ninth amongst the 11-team field with 313 total strokes, led by
Keegan Billingham who put up a 76 and placed T-28th overall. Next was
Cam Donahue at T-38th with a 78, followed by
Nolan Frey at T-41st with a 79.
Adam Murphy finished off the team scorecard with an 80 at T-47th.
Ricky Walsh would come in T-51st with an 81.
B-TEAM | 318 | 11th PLACE
CU's reserve side would end up 11th in the 11-team field, shooting a combined 318.
Andreas Reider led the side with a 73, finishing T-9th as the Purple and White's top performer of the day.
Aidan Isaac came in next, shooting 79 and finishing T-41st, followed by
Cole Crandall at T-56th with an 82.
Logan Wycoff and
Brodey Dewitt would split honors for the final score on the team's card, both shooting 84 and finishing T-60th.
INDIVIDUALS
Capital also put forth two individuals with
Ryan Murphy and
Andrew Arway getting a round in. Murphy finished T-33rd with a 77 while Arway came in at T-58th with an 83.
UP NEXT
The Comets hit the course again in a bit over a week, competing in the Otterbein Spring Classic on Easter Monday, April 21st.
