WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Recently, the Ohio Athletic Conference announced the selections of 30 Capital University spring student-athletes for Academic All-OAC based on their performance in the classroom.
To be eligible for the award, students must be of varsity standing, a sophomore or higher in school, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.495 or higher, and not have won the award three times in their particular sport.
The 30 student-athletes represented a variety of the spring sports, with softball topping the charts at eight selections. Men's track and field earned five selections while baseball, men's golf, and women's lacrosse all earned four. Women's tennis turned in two selections with women's golf, men's lacrosse, and women's track and field each earning one.
Representing softball were juniors

Hannah St. Clair, and sophomores
Autumn Bridges,
Emma Sweetman,
Tabi Bailey, and
Megan Mlinaric.
Making up the five from men's track and field were graduate
Nick Stuck, seniors
Daniel Hiser and
Donovan Slattery, and juniors
Dom Glenn and
Jason McColl.
The four from baseball were senior
Daniel Collier, juniors
Colin Boldin and
Ryan Brophy, and sophomore
Robby Harrison.
The men's golf group was made up of seniors
Ben Satterthwaite and
Jack Curtis, as well as juniors
Ryan Murphy and
Adam Murphy.
Representing women's lacrosse were juniors
Grace Osborn and
Riley Johnson, along with sophomores
Holly Stoner and
Brenna Todd.
The two selections from women's tennis were
Kylee Fliter and
Rachel Smith.
Women's golf was represented by
Mariah Cotsamire.
The lone selection from men's lacrosse was
Max Schillig.
Women's track and field put forth Elizabeth Mak.
