WESTERVILLE, Ohio – On Friday morning, the Ohio Athletic Conference announced their All-Conference teams for women's soccer in 2024 . Among the honorees were six players from Capital University: Abby English (First Team), Avery Hart (Second Team), Grace Estes (Second Team), Liv Alford (Second Team), Ryanne Michel (Second Team), and Bella Leonetti (Third Team).

Abby English was the headliner as the groups only First Team honoree. This is her third All-OAC selection after having been named First Team last season and Second Team the year before. English played all but 12 minutes of her 17 appearances this season, leading five defensive shutouts for the Comets. 

Avery Hart earned her fourth All-OAC selection in her return to the team this year. The 2022 All-American, 2022 OAC Forward of the Year, and 2019 OAC Freshman of the Year was named First Team in 2022 and 2021, and Second Team in 2019. She led the team in scoring this season with five goals and 10 points. 

Grace Estes gets her third All-OAC selection after having previously been named Second Team last season and Third Team in 2021. She was tied for second in scoring this season, putting up four goals and one assist for nine points.

Liv Alford makes it two All-OAC Second Team selections now, having also earned the honor last season. This year she was once again the Comets leading goalkeeper with 18 appearances, 18 starts, and a 5-8-4 record with a goals-against average of 1.20 and a save percentage of .794, recording 81 saves. 

Ryanne Michel earns her first All-OAC selection, being named Second Team after making a midseason move from the back line to the midfield. She was fourth on the team in scoring with three goals totalling six points. 

Finally, freshman Bella Leonetti starts her career with her first All-OAC selection on the Third Team. She led the team in assists, dishing out a total of four. Adding her one goal, Leonetti finished the season with six points.
