Player of the Week for the second straight week after he put up career numbers against Wilmington and Otterbein.
The Comets went 1-1 this past week with a 2-1 win over Wilmington on Wednesday and a 0-1 loss to Otterbein on Saturday. All-in-all, Thomas recorded 13 saves against 15 shots on goal for a save percentage of .867 and a goals-against average of 1.00.
Against Wilmington, Thomas recorded five saves including a clutch PK save with five minutes remaining to secure the 2-1 win. He would follow that clutch performance up with a career night against Otterbein in which he made a career-high eight saves.
Thomas owns the men's soccer team's only two Athlete of the Week awards in 2024 and has now made it eight Athletes of the Week for the athletic department this year.
The Purple and White will be back in action on Wednesday, October 30th on the road at Muskingum at 7:00 p.m.
