WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced
Noah Thomas as the men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week after he helped the Capital Comets to a 1-0-1 record last week.
On Wednesday, October 16th, Thomas anchored the defensive front with a four-save shutout as the Comets defeated Marietta 3-0 on the road. On Saturday, October 19th, the Comets earned a 1-1 draw vs. No. 17 ranked Ohio Northern University. In that game, Thomas made six saves and showed great command of his area throughout the game to fend off a barrage of 17 Polar Bear shots.
