COLUMBUS, Ohio – On Tuesday, June 20th, Director of Athletics Dr. Darrell Bailey Sr. announced the resignation of Capital University's head softball coach Andrea Nagy.
Nagy, who led the softball team since 2020 made the decision to step away from the program citing family reasons.
In her four seasons at the helm of the program, Nagy compiled an overall record of 38-70, including a 24-48 mark in the OAC. Under her watch, one student-athlete was named Academic All-America, five players earned All-OAC honors, and dozens more were named Academic All-OAC recipients.
A national search for the program's 10th head coach will begin immediately. Inquiries related to the position can be directed to Dr. Darrell Bailey Sr.
