SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Capital University men's golf team competed in the NCAA Great Lakes Preview on Monday and Tuesday, finishing 8th in the 16-team field. The Comets shot a collective 306 in round one and 320 in round two to finish with a 626.
Keegan Billingham and
Jack Curtis both had identical overall scores as well as identical round scores to finish tied for 17th in the 94-man field. Each shot a 75 in the first round and followed up with a 79 in the second to finish with a total of 154.
Adam Murphy came in tied for 39th place, starting with 76 on day one and ending with 84 on day two to total 160.
Ben Satterthwaite would round out the Capital scorecard with a total of 162. He shot 84 in the first round and dropped six strokes in his second round to finish tied for 46th.
Adam Czerniakowski had an 80 on day one but would not post a score on day two.

The Comets will now fix their eyes on the spring season, the schedule for which is yet to be released.
