WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- The Ohio Athletic Conference announced the 2021 OAC All-Tournament teams. Both Capital University men's and women's soccer teams featured two names on their respective teams. 

Representing the women's team were junior Avery Hart and senior Brooke Shutler. On the men's side, sophomore Jack Francisco and senior Bailey Lach were picked as honorees. 

Hart scored a goal in both tournament games for the women, including the game-winner in the 46th minute vs. Heidelberg in the quarterfinals and the tying goal at Ohio Northern in the semifinals. The pair of goals gave Hart nine for the season.

Shutler helped hold down the center midfield for Capital in both the quarterfinal and semifinal matches. Across the two games, Shutler logged 182 minutes on the field and helped facilitate the ball through the lines and limit the pressure felt by the Cap defense. On the season, Shutler ended with two assists. 

Francisco had an incredible tournament for the men. Francisco bagged a second-half hat trick to help the men defeat the Wilmington Quakers by a final of 4-3. His final goal of the game came with just 56 seconds left in the game. In the semifinals, Francisco scored the lone goal of the game for Capital against eventual champions, John Carroll. In the 14th minute of the game, Francisco got his head on a long throw to put Capital ahead at the time. He finished the season with nine goals. 

Lach played well in both games of the tournament as an outside back. Against Wilmington, Lach got forward and provided assists on two of Francisco's goals, including the game winner in the 90th minute of the game. He finished the year with six assists. 

Both Hart and Shutler helped play integral parts in helping the women finish the season with an overall record of 9-8-2, including a 7-1-1 mark in the OAC. For the men, Francisco and Lach aided the team in achieving a record of 10-8-1 overall and a 4-4-1 conference mark.
