Crusaders Compete in the All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio- Capital Women's Cross Country competed in the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday at Cedarville University. Capital placed 15th overall with a score of 440. The Crusaders finished with a total time of 2:20.18. 

Capital had three runners finish in the top-100. Freshman Allison Costanzo leads the women's team, finishing 88th overall. She completed the 6,000-meter course with a time of 27:10.6. Freshman Eva Bernhard finished second for the Crusader's women's squad and 94st amongst the competition. 27:25.1 was her final time and she averaged a 7:21.0 mile. Alexa Daley finished in the top-three for the Crusaders and rounded off the top-100. Daley ran a 27:51.6 race and averaged a 7:28.1 mile.  

Next up the Crusaders will participate in the Jenna Strong Invitational at Wilmington College on Friday, Oct. 11.
