WOOSTER, Ohio – The Capital University baseball team ventured up to Wooster on Wednesday evening where they were dropped by a final score of 6-0. With the loss, Capital drops to 15-13 overall and Wooster improves to 21-10.
In the game, Capital collected six hits, which included one double. The team also drew three walks.
Bryce Kyees led the way with two hits, including the team's lone double.
Charlie Colson added a hit and a walk, as did
Robby Harrison.
Ty Clifton and
Justin Weaver tacked on the other two hits, while
Kielan LaMarr drew a walk.
Will Furry started on the hill and tossed six full innings where he conceded five runs (four earned) on 10 hits. He struck out seven.
Noah Bromberg and
Diego Astacio combined for two innings of relief effort.
