WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Recently, the Ohio Athletic Conference announced 2025 Academic All-Conference awards for spring competition. Featured on the list were 35 student-athletes representing Capital University.
To be eligible for Academic All-OAC, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.495 or higher, maintain varsity status, be a sophomore or higher academically, and have been enrolled full-time at the nominating institution for the equivalent of a full academic year.
Of Capital's 35 honorees, baseball led the way with 10, followed by men's lacrosse with six, softball with five, and women's lacrosse and women's track and field both with four. Then came men's golf, men's track and field, and women's tennis with two each, and women's golf with one.

The five from softball were senior

Women's lacrosse was represented by graduate student
Avery Hart, senior
Grace Osborn, and juniors
Heather Stoner and
Brenna Todd.
Women's track and field was also represented by graduate
Avery Hart, alongside senior
Elizabeth Mak, and sophomores
Olivia Ellis and
Catherine Schaub.
Men's golf saw the twins selected as seniors Adam and
Ryan Murphy both earned the honor.
The two from men's track and field were sophomores
Aiden Mahony and
Gunnar Yates.
Making up the two from women's tennis were senior
Kylee Fliter and sophomore
Annika Hansen.
Finally, women's golf was represented by sophomore
Camryn Mauter.
