COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University Athletics, in conjunction with Alumni Engagement, has announced the selection of five individuals to the 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame. 

The five inductees for 2026 are … 

• Daniele (Manalac Sanna) Goncz '10 - Women's Basketball
• Cory Trump '12 - Men's Soccer & Men's Track & Field
• Joshua Cheyenne Woods '13 - Men's Track & Field
• Christopher Weisgarber '13 - Men's Soccer
• Mariah Richards Reichenbach '16 - Women's Soccer

The 2026 class will officially be inducted into the Hall of Fame on the morning of Saturday, October 24th as part of Homecoming and Alumni weekend at Capital. 

Daniele (Manalac Sanna) Goncz was a critical member of the Capital women's basketball program throughout her career. Her efforts on the court were capped off with an All-American nod in 2009, the same season in which she was named the OAC Player of the Year. In addition to her national and conference recognition, Goncz was also named to the All-Region third team. During that nationally recognized season, Goncz helped lead her team to a 22-6 overall record, which included a 15-3 OAC mark. She averaged 13.5 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per contest that year. The Purple and White culminated that season by winning the OAC Championship and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. Prior to her dominant 2009 season, Goncz was also instrumental in the program's successes, as she also received OAC award recognition during the 2007 season. 

Goncz currently resides in Powell, Ohio with her husband Jason and their four children – Christopher (CJ), Alexis, Addison, and Dominic. Daniele also credits her parents Steve and Michele for their support throughout her career and beyond. She works as an Operations Manager with Dome Financial. 

Cory Trump was a two-sport student-athlete at Capital, competing with high success in both men's soccer and men's track and field. On the soccer pitch, Trump was a member of three championship teams, winning the OAC Regular Season in both 2007 and 2008 before the team won the 2009 OAC Tournament title. The 2009 championship run resulted in the program's first NCAA Tournament Appearance. On the track and field team, Trump made his name as one of the most prolific high jumpers in school history. To this day, he holds the school record in the indoor high jump (2.05 meters) which he set at the NCAA Division III National Championships in 2009. In addition, Trump sits third all-time in school history in the outdoor high jump (2.01 meters) which he cleared at the 2011 OAC Championships. He qualified for the NCAA Championships a total of four times across his career, earning All-American honors twice with a fourth place finish in 2009 and a sixth place finish in 2011. 

Trump currently resides in Worthington, Ohio with his wife Chelsea and their three daughters – Emerson, Josephine, and Sullivan. He works as an Assistant Financial Representative. 

Joshua Cheyenne Woods was an outstanding student-athlete for the men's track and field program throughout his career. Woods left his mark on the program all-time lists an outstanding seven times, including continuing to hold two school records. He currently holds the program records in the outdoor 200-meter dash with a time of 21.51 seconds at the Gator Invite in May of 2010 and the outdoor long jump with a mark of 7.22 meters at the North Central Last Chance meet in May of 2012. Additionally, he sees his name on the program top-10 lists among the top four in the indoor triple jump (14.33 meters), the outdoor triple jump (14.15 meters), indoor long jump (7.04 meters), the indoor 4x400 relay (3:26.47), and the indoor 200-meter dash (22.41 seconds).  Woods was also a five-time NCAA qualifier across his career in the long jump, triple jump and 200-meter dash. 

Woods resides in Westerville, Ohio alongside his spouse Samyuktha Reddy Ganga and his son Nivaan Icarus Woods. Joshua also adds credit to his adoptive parents Andrea Maria and Leroy Allen as well as his grandmother Shirley L. Byrd, his grandfather Leroy 'Buster' Montgomery, and his mother-in-law Jaya Laxmi Beeram for their support through his career and beyond. He works as a Software Engineering Team Lead currently. 

Christopher Weisgarber was a standout goalkeeper for the Capital men's soccer program during his career. His decorated career ended with 2013 OAC Goalkeeper of the Year and All-OAC first team accolades. Along with conference recognition, Weisgarber was selected as a 2013 NSCAA Scholar All-American and a NSCAA All-Region second team honoree. To this day, Weisgarber continues to hold the program record for career goalkeeper minutes played, having registered 6,735:28 minutes of game action. Off the pitch, Weisgarber was a quality student as well. He was named as an Academic All-OAC recipient three times and was chosen as the OAC Clyde Lamb Award winner his senior year. 

Weisgarber resides in Blacklick, Ohio with his spouse Allie and their three daughters – Emery, Elliott and Avery. He works as a Family Medicine Physician currently. 

Mariah Richards Reichenbach put forth an outstanding playing career in the Purple and White across her four years in action at Capital. Reichenbach was a part of five championships, winning the OAC Regular Season in 2013 and 2015 and the OAC Tournament in 2013, 2014, and 2015.  Her teams qualified for the NCAA Tournament three times and the 2013 team put together the most successful season in school history as the team advanced all the way to the National Semifinals. Mariah was a four-time All-OAC recipient and culminated her career with an outstanding 2015 season. That year, Reichenbach was named a third team All-American, a first team Scholar All-American, first team All-Region, OAC Defensive Player of the Year, and first team All-Ohio. Additionally, she was an outstanding student, receiving Academic All-OAC three times and twice being named Academic All-Ohio. 

Mariah resides in University Place, Washington with her husband Heath and their son Simon. She adds credit to her parents Clark and Dianne and her sister Madison for their support during her career and beyond. She works as a dentist currently. 

This induction class will be honored with a breakfast ceremony on Saturday, October 24th as part of Capital's Homecoming and Alumni weekend.
