CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Capital University women's soccer team (2-5-0) took a trip north on Saturday to take on 15th-ranked Case Western Reserve (5-0-2). The Comets would hold the high-powered Spartans to two goals but it would not be enough to sneak away with a tie or a win, ultimately falling 2-1.
CWRU would score their goals first, splitting them between the halves in the 39th and 62nd minutes. Cap got one back in the 75th as
Rachel Austin scored in her third straight game.
Grace Estes received credit for the assist.
