ADRIAN, Mich. – The Capital University women's bowling team ventured north to Adrian, Michigan where they were scheduled to compete in two competitions, starting with today's AC Open. As a team, Capital placed fifth of six teams.
The Comet women totaled 2,930 pins on the day, thanks to 1,779 in individual play and 1,151 in baker game play.
Capital was led by
Cassidi Johnson in three-game series, as she threw a 413 score – led by a high of 177.
Sadie Bassitt was next for Cap, hurling a 411 pin score. Her high was 150.
Emily Weishaar threw 354 pins for Cap, leading with a 141 game.
Tisha Lennex scored 343 pins, highlighted by a best score of 126.
Shayla Slomba made her Comet debut on the lanes, throwing a score of 258 pins with her high score marking 92 pins twice.
The Comets scored 1,151 pins in baker games, highlighted by a high score of 152 pins.
