COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's and women's bowling programs got back in action today at the Ohio Bowling Conference's third tournament of the season, where both teams showed solid signs of quality throughout the day.
The men placed 17th with 3,976 pins, while the women were 16th with 3,504 pins.
MEN
Chase Young was the top finisher for Cap, throwing 699 pins, highlighted by a 245 in his final game. He finished 46th.
Baylee Becker threw a combined score of 676 pins, topping out at 205 in his final game. He placed 48th.
Carlos Patterson was next for Capital, throwing 544 pins, with his best score registering 167. He was 60th.
Logan Dimel was 65th with 487 pins. His high score was 138.
Kristian Brown rounded it out with a 444 total score in what would be his final competition with the Purple and White as he is slated to graduate next month. Brown's highest score was 131.
WOMEN
Sadie Bassitt was the top Comet of the day, throwing 614 pins to place 36th. Her top score was 186.
Cassidi Johnson was 49th overall with 535 pins. Her high score was 156.
Trisha Lennex was next for Cap, tossing 487 pins with a high score of 147.
Shayla Slomba was 58th overall with 461 pins. Her best score was 127 pins.
Kennedy Marshall rounded things out with a score of 398 pins. Her best score was 124.

Capital will now pause for the holidays before getting back on the lanes on January 25th at the MSC Lynne Jordan Memorial in Louisville, Kentucky.
