Finally, Shayla Slomba finished 40th with a total of 230 and an average of 76.7.

QUOTE FROM COACH GORDON
"One reason we bowled better on Friday than Saturday was the oil pattern. The ball motion was very predictable on the longer oil pattern on Friday, and it made shot making and spare shooting easier. The short oil pattern on Saturday is something we just couldn't quite master. For those newer to bowling, I would compare it to a very windy day at the golf course. While we practiced on the short pattern for the last two weeks at our home center, it is difficult to simulate the effects of a seven hour tournament in a two hour practice. We just need to keep working on it, as bowling on short oil can be difficult without the right ball and without a ton of prior experience."

UP NEXT
The Comets will be back for Ohio Bowling Conference action on November 16th at OBC #3.
