Women’s Bowling Concludes Tennessee Trip with Solid Performance

SMYRNA, Tenn. – The Capital University women's bowling team wrapped up their weekend of competition in Smyrna, Tennessee on Sunday evening, finishing 12th of 15 teams in the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial. 

As a team, Capital totaled 3,493 pins thanks to 2,488 in the team portion and 1,005 in the baker game portion. 

Emily Weishaar led Capital with a score of 614, an average of 153.5 over the four-game series. Her high score registered at 171 for an overall place of 49th. 

Cassidi Johnson placed 56th with a four-game total of 557 – an average of 139.3. Her high score marked a 187 in her final game. 

Sadie Bassitt was next for Cap, finishing 58th with a total score of 537 pins. Her high game registered 166. 

Kennedy Marshall placed 96th with a total score of 319 over three games bowled. Her high score topped out at 115. 

Trisha Lennex also bowled three games, scoring 281 with a high score of 99, placing 103rd. 

Isabella Scheiderer spun two games, scoring 180 pins with her best game scoring 102. 

In baker games, Cap averaged a score of 125.6 pins with their best game scoring 162.
