COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's bowling team competed at the Ohio Bowling Conference's second tournament of the season on Saturday, showing signs of improvement from their inaugural outing two weeks ago.
As a team, Capital placed 17th of 17 teams with 4,396 pins. The total was a 77-pin improvement from week one's competition.
The Comet women did not compete this weekend.
Baylee Becker was again Capital's top finisher, placing 39th with 770 pins. His average score was 192 and his high game registered at 199.
Carlos Patterson placed 58th with 655 pins, averaging 163 over the four games. His high score registered 178.
Chase Young scored 638 pins to place 63rd, averaging 159. His 185 was his personal high on the day.
Kristian Brown placed 78th with 416 pins, throwing a high-game of 174.
Nicholas Wines scored 404 pins in three games. His score of 163 was his high for the day.
Logan Dimel bowled two games, scoring 265 pins with games of 129 and 136.

Capital will be heading out on the road for two days of competition in Smyrna, Tennessee next weekend. Capital will bowl in the Greater Nashville Open on October 26th and in the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial on October 27th.
