CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Capital University women's soccer team (2-1-1) encountered a 1-1 draw with Mount St. Joseph (2-1-1) on the road on Sunday afternoon. MSJ pulled ahead in the first half, scoring in the 21st minute. The Comets nearly drew even about ten minutes later, but came up empty after a shot from
Lexi Snider hit the crossbar and bounced bar-down away from goal.
Sophia Leonetti came up with the equalizer in the 66th minute to tie the game at 1-1, where it would stay until the final whistle.
Capital didn't quite have a shortage of chances on the offensive end, getting 10 shots off, six of which were on target.
Leonetti was responsible for four of those 10 shots, putting three on target and one in the back of the net. She's once again tied for the team scoring lead with
Grace Estes, now with three on the season.

Taylor Marcum, and Estes accounted for the other six attempts.
Liv Alford (1-1-1) started and spent the full 90 minutes in the net for the Comets. She made two saves.
