WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Capital University men's golf team hit the links on Saturday and Sunday at the OAC Fall Preview. The Comets' two teams finished 8th and 9th of 11 teams.
Team A got 8th place, shooting 310 on day one and 317 on day two for a total of 627.
Jack Curtis led the squad with a 75, 76 finishing tied for 10th overall after shooting 151 total. Next was
Ben Satterthwaite shooting 77, 78 for a 155 and T-28th individually.
Ricky Walsh and
Adam Murphy would round out the Capital scorecard, both having shot 161 and tying for 44th. Walsh went 78, 83 while Murphy would go 80, 81.
Cam Donahue finished T-51st overall with a 166 after shooting 84, 82.
Team B finished right behind their Comet counterparts with a 312 on day one and a 319 on day two, totalling 631.
Keegan Billingham was the top shooter at 151 and tied with Capital teammate Curtis at 10th overall, shooting 78, 73. Next was
Ryan Murphy at 74, 78 for 152 and T-15th.
Adam Czerniakowski shot 162 with a 78, 84, finishing tied for 46th.
Nolan Frey finished off the team score at 166 after going 82, 84 and tying with 51st.
Aidan Isaac shot 87, 86 for 173 and 61st overall.
