COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men's basketball team was upended by a final score of 79-59 at the hands of the No. 4 nationally ranked Mount Union Purple Raiders.
The loss ends a run of four consecutive wins by the Comets and sets their season record back to 7-6 and evens out their OAC record at 3-3.
Mount Union improves to 12-1 overall and 5-1 in the conference.
Freshman forward,
Tre Hammond scored a team-high 11 points off the bench in his 12 minutes of action. Hammond put the ball up pretty efficiently going 4-of-6 from the floor and 3-of-5 from 3-point range.
Ryan Suever led the starting rotation with nine points. He added four rebounds.
Griffin Doseck put up decent defensive numbers with five boards, a steal, and three blocks. He added six points and two assists offensively.

Deon Miller finished with a combined 17 points.
