COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Due to the impending weather forecast and cold temperatures for this weekend, Capital Athletics has announced the following changes to the scheduled events on March 26th.
- Women's Tennis - Capital has moved their home opener match vs. Mount Union indoors to Olympic Indoor Tennis (3480 Indianola Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43214). Due to this change, the match has been pushed back one hour to start at 2 p.m.
- Men's & Women's Track - Capital will no longer be traveling to the Denison Spring Opener on Saturday. With the weather calling for low temperatures and potential snow, the conditions do not bode well for the team competing safely. To make up for the lost competition, the Comets will now be participating in the Ashland Alumni Open on April 29th.
- Baseball - Capital has postponed the baseball doubleheader at Otterbein on Saturday, March 26th. The teams now plan to play on Tuesday, March 29th at Otterbein. This change has subsequently postponed Capital's originally scheduled game at Ohio Christian for Tuesday. A make-up for that game is yet to be confirmed.
- Softball - Capital has postponed their doubleheader with Otterbein from Saturday to now be played on Tuesday, March 29th with the start time scheduled for 3 p.m. The doubleheader will still take place at Clowson Field.
