Volleyball Falls to Heidelberg

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Capital University volleyball team made their way up to the Campus of Heidelberg University on Wednesday for a late season affair with the Student Princes. Unfortunately, things did not go the Comets' way, dropping the match in four sets, 1-3 (11-25, 25-21, 20-25, 10-25).

The Purple and White fall to 8-17 on the season and 0-7 within the conference.

Heidelberg also moves to 8-17 overall with a 3-5 OAC mark.

The Comets struggled to get things going in the first set, losing 11-25, but rebounded strongly in the second set with a 25-21 win. The tide seemed to be turning Capital's way in the third set as the Comets held an early lead but the Student Princes rallied to take the set 25-20. Things did not bounce Cap's way in the fourth set as the Purple and White struggled to put points on the board and dropped the set 10-25 and the game, 1-3.
