Maria Ellesin will begin her first year as a member of the Capital University volleyball coaching staff in 2026.

BIO
Coach Ellesin is no stranger to the Ohio Athletic Conference, spending the past three seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Mount Union.  Prior to coaching, Ellesin was a five year member of the Purple Raider's volleyball program as an opposite hitter.  During her collegiate career, she earned All-OAC Second Team, Honorable Mention, and Academic honors.  

Coach Ellesin graduated in the spring of 2022 from Mount Union with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Sports Business, also earning a Master's of Education in Athletic Coaching in December of 2023.
