Morgan Eakin will begin her third season as a student assistant coach with the Capital women's soccer program in 2021. 
Morgan, a current senior at Capital, formerly competed under head coach Matt Ogden as a freshman before an injury forced her to the coaching ranks. 
In addition to her student coaching with Capital, Morgan, a native of  is pursuing her degree in Business Management with a minor in Sport Management. With that degree, she has already worked as a Match day Marketing Intern with the Columbus Crew during the 2021 season. Additionally, this experience has set her up for another opportunity as a Premium Experience Intern with the Columbus Blue Jackets, which she will begin this coming season. 
At the end of 2020, Eakin also held a role as a CBX Associate at Cycle Bar where she helped train and hire new associates, establish high customer service, executed sales and hospitality events, and managed the organization's social media accounts to boost engagement. 
On top of her professional experience Eakin has been a President's List student at Capital and serves as the Chapter Treasurer for Alpha Sigma Alpha.
