Capital University

Molly Troutman will join the Capital softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the 2023-24 school year. She will be running the offensive side of the game for the team. 

Troutman serves as the head coach of Ohio Lasers 2010 White Team. Molly's impressive background as a former Laser, Ohio Storm, and Beverly Bandit travel player brings a wealth of experience and skill to our organization. Her dedication and talent led her to Ohio University, where she competed at the Division I level in the MAC conference.

Additionally, Molly's exceptional achievements at Gahanna Lincoln High School, including earning 1st team All-State Honors twice, being named to the 1st team All-District three times, and holding numerous records, such as the season batting average (.636), hits (52), career runs (148), career hits (201), and career average (.555), highlight her outstanding abilities on the field.

Throughout her coaching journey, which spans three summers, Molly has served as the lead assistant for the Laser Black team and as the head coach for the Lasers Black 18U team.
