Jack Jasinski begins his first year as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Capital in the 2022 season. He currently plays for Premier Lacrosse League's Archers Lacrosse Club after being signed by the team on May 9, 2022.
In the spring of 2022, Jasinski helped guide an improved Capital team to a 9-9 record and an OAC Tournament Semifinals appearance. Under his assistance, the Comets landed four players on the All-OAC postseason teams, led by second team selections from Brenden Pelton and Mason Spaulding.
During the 2021-22 National Lacrosse League (indoor box lacrosse), Jasinski played two games with the Panther City Lacrosse Club where he scored once and registerd three assists.
A 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University, Jasinski had an incredible collegiate career prior to playing two seasons with the Denver Outlaws of the Major Lacrosse League (MLL). At Ohio State, Jack concluded his career with 97 points in 61 games played (61 goals, 36 assists). During his tenure, he was a four-year letter winner and was recognized by both the Big Ten and Inside Lacrosse as the Conference and National Player of the Week on several occasions.
Upon his graduation, Jack was drafted by the MLL's Dallas Rattlers before being traded to the Denver Outlaws, where he played two seasons. During his time with the Outlaws, Jack recorded 23 points in 15 games played and competed in the MLL Championship Game both years on the team (2019 and 2020).
At the conclusion of his playing tenure, Jack shifted his attention to coaching the sport. In 2019, he was hired as a Team Coach with Resolute Lacrosse Club where he still coaches today. With Resolute, Jasinski works on player development in 1-on-1 and small group settings. Additionally, he works on and off the field to develop youth and high school players to achieve their goals of playing lacrosse at the next level.
Furthermore, Jasinski served as the offensive coordinator for Hilliard Davidson High School during the Covid-19 shortened 2020 season.
Jack is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and completed his Exercise Science in Education Degree from Ohio State in 2019.
