In his first year, sophomore Tyler Schreck earned Second Team All-OAC laurels while Ganiyu Yahaya capped off his senior year with an honorable mention nod. Capital averaged 71.0 points per game and held a +3.2 rebounding advantage against their opponents over the course of the 2019-20 season.

Roy, a 2018 Wittenberg University graduate, was a four-year letterwinner and starter for the Tigers. Roy and the Tigers were 2018 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) regular season and tournament champions behind a 27-3 overall record. The Tigers went on to be ranked as high as No. 2 in the country and won 22 consecutive games that season.

After the 2017-18 season concluded, Roy earned a number of accolades to put an exclamation mark on his career. He was named team most valuable player and most improved player, the Men's Collegiate Athlete of the Year at Wittenberg, First Team All-NCAC, NCAC Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Great Lakes Region (NABC), Second Team All-Great Lakes Region (D3Hoops.com), and Fourth Team All-America by D3Hoops.com. He was named to the all-tournament for three different tournaments that season and ended his career on the 1,000 point scorer list at Wittenberg.

After graduating, Roy went on to work multiple camps including Wittenberg's Top 50 camps and Florida State's men's basketball team and individual camps. He was later hired as an assistant coach on the Springfield (Holland) High School varsity boys' basketball team, which went on to win a sectional championship.

Roy holds a bachelor's degree in business and is working toward his master's in business administration at Capital University.
