Trent Fielding enters his first season at Capital in the fall of 2021 where he will coach the tight ends.
Fielding, who is a native of Sunbury, Ohio, joins the Purple and White after most recently serving as the Running Backs Coach for Lake Erie College. Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Fielding spent time working in various roles for Fujitec America, Carquest, UPS, and Fastenal.
As an athlete, Fielding attended Lock Haven University and Urbana University. At Lock Haven, he was a Preseason All-American, first team All-Conference, first team All-Region, and an All-American. At Urbana, he was the recipient of the Uncommon Award - given to a player that goes above and beyond the call of duty to accomplish the uncommon. In high school, Fielding attended Big Walnut and was an All-Ohio, All-Conference, and All-District selection.
